What I’ve always loved most about architecture is how buildings shape the way people experience things, and that curiosity eventually led me to product design. I love the process of making something feel simple and natural, whether it’s cleaning up a flow or even just adjusting a corner radius. What I don’t hear people talk about often is how satisfying it feels when a final design is clean and organized; the dopamine hit is one of the most underrated joys of digital design.

Hi, I'm Leon! I'm a product designer with a background in architecture.
A bit more about me…

I was first introduced to product design during my time at UC Berkeley, where I discovered how much I enjoy blending creativity with problem-solving - without the risk of cutting my hands on an X-Acto knife while making a model. Even so, I still like to keep my hands busy outside of work, whether I’m playing badminton, experimenting with new cocktail recipes, or working on small woodworking projects.

My design journey so far:
UI/UX Designer

Burlingame Studios, Scopely

Full time | 2023 - 2025

Digital Designer

SF Chinatown

Freelance | 2023

Product Designer

Eano Home Renovation

Internship | 2022

Nice words from awesome people:

Creative Director - Burlingame Studios

Leon truly understands users and also has a sharp eye for design. He doesn’t just make things look good, he makes them work smoothly and intuitively. One of the things I appreciated early on was his ability to ask the right questions, the kind that clarify goals, challenge assumptions, and move the product forward.

Senior Lead Designer - Burlingame Studios

His impeccable UI work is assisted by his clean sense for aesthetic, thanks to which he's able to marry timeless, classic UI components with trendy eye-catching, "make-it-pop" visual resources. His range when it comes to providing visual solutions to UX problems is impressive and extremely helpful when iterating on concepts and ideas.

Some side quests besides design…
